Dyslexia in Teenagers. You Have the Report. Now You Need the Plan.

You sat through the feedback meeting for the neuropsychological evaluation of your teenager, and felt completely overwhelmed. The evaluation felt like it was written in code. You didn’t imagine it. Most evaluations are written for other professionals, not for the parent who has to act on them. The diagnosis tells you what’s happening. It doesn’t tell you what to do next or how to turn it into an action plan.

The Dyslexia in Teenagers Decoded Plan provides you with an action plan based upon the evaluation.

How It Works

1. Share the report. After checkout, you’ll receive a link where you can upload your teen’s evaluation and schedule a meeting. I read everything before we meet, so our time goes to your questions, not to catching me up.
2. We meet for 60 minutes on Zoom. We walk through the report section by section, in plain language. Your teen is welcome to join for part of the call or all of it.
3. You get your written action plan. Within five business days, you’ll receive a two-page plan that covers:
   • What the evaluation actually shows, and why reading, spelling, or writing has felt so hard
   • What helps at home, starting this week
   • What kind of instruction your teen needs, and what to look for in a tutor or program
   • What to request from the school
   • Whether an advocate makes sense for your family, and where to find one
4. Follow-up. Then 30 days after our initial call, we have a second 30 minute Zoom session for questions as you put the plan in motion.

Who It’s For

Parents of teenagers ages 13 to 18 who were recently diagnosed with dyslexia and have an evaluation from a qualified professional. I’m an ALTA-certified Orton-Gillingham educational therapist, and I’m also the mom of a dyslexic daughter. I’ve read these reports from both sides of the table. I know how heavy that report feels, and I know how much lighter it gets once someone decodes what’s inside and explains the next steps.

What This Is Not

This isn’t a new evaluation or a diagnosis. I work from the evaluation you already have.
